An almost limitless amount of unique optical barcodes are possible by combining different nanoparticles together. IMS’ optically coded security Intelligent Material® are readily incorporated into inks, coatings, or directly into fibers, films, or other substrates. Intelligent Material® are impossible to reverse engineer and detectable at parts per billion (ppb) concentrations using IMS custom sensor systems.
